Las Vegas, NV - April 19, 2024 - This National Space Day, May 3, 2024, the Las Vegas Space STEM Academy invites you to an exclusive event featuring two luminaries of the space industry. Join us for an intimate "out of this world" conversation with NASA Space Shuttle Astronaut, Jose M. Hernandez, whose extraordinary life journey inspired the acclaimed film "A Million Miles Away," alongside Space Entrepreneur Meagan Crawford, visionary behind the Venture Capital Firm Space Fund and pioneer in coaching and collaborating with space start-ups, including the groundbreaking Las Vegas Space STEM Academy.
Hosted at the Boy Scouts Las Vegas Area Council from 11am to 1pm, this event offers a unique opportunity to delve into the future of space exploration, education, and economic opportunities in Las Vegas. Moderated by Robert Lauer, CEO of Las Vegas Spaceport, guests will gain insights into the latest developments of our locally based Space STEM academy, positioning Las Vegas as a hub of innovation and discovery in the aerospace sector.
